Cruise to the base of the route, rack up. Climb, belay, repeat until the post-climb beer—all in one jacket. Our Nano-Air® Hoody sets a new standard for technical insulation, merging the comfort and breathability of open fleece with the protection and warmth of a puffy. Its supremely stretchy and breathable fabric package combines a plain-weave liner, warm-when-wet FullRange® insulation and a lightweight yet durable, weather-shedding 100% nylon ripstop shell with DWR (durable water repellent) finish. The hoody has an incredibly soft, supple feel and full mechanical stretch (without moisture-holding spandex) that allow for a close, femininely sculpted fit over baselayers and an uninhibited range of motion. When the belay goes from chilly to downright cold, pull on a lightweight shell and the Nano-Air’s thermal properties skyrocket. The trim, stretchy hood is designed for next-to-noggin use, though it’ll still fit snugly over low-profile helmets. Two above-harness handwarmer pockets and two smaller chest pockets all close with trim, low-bulk zippers. The center-front zipper has a storm flap and zipper garage, while stretch binding at the cuffs and a dual-adjustable drawcord hem seal in warmth.
  • Light yet durable 100% nylon ripstop shell and plain-weave liner offer generous mechanical stretch and exceptional breathability, with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish
  • Revolutionary 60-g FullRange® insulation warms and stretches; combined with the shell and liner, this creates a jacket with excellent mechanical stretch and unprecedented air permeability (40-CFM)
  • Iconic Nano Puff® brick quilting in the side panels, articulated patterning and other quilting details improve shape and durability
  • Stretchy hood with binding pulls easily on or off head, even when jacket is zipped
  • Center-front zipper has wicking interior storm flap and zipper garage at chin for next-to-skin comfort
  • Two handwarmer pockets and two chest pockets are zippered, welted and low-bulk to wear comfortably with a harness or pack
  • Stretch binding at the cuffs and a dual-adjustable drawcord hem seal in warmth
  • Shell: 1.3-oz 20-denier 100% nylon ripstop. Lining: 2-oz 50-denier 100% nylon plain weave. Both shell and lining with mechanical stretch and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Insulation: 60-g FullRange® 100% polyester stretch insulation
  • 334 g (11.8 oz)
  • Made in Vietnam.

Water Resistant

(durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Women's Nano-Air® Hoody is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 93.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hands down the most versatile jacket I own! The women's Nano-Air is a game changer. I've used this jacket out camping in the summer, on cool fall New England nights, and on Denali. It is so easy to layer with or can be used as a standalone jacket. It is incredibly comfy and the cut is superb. I find the length to be perfect and better than my Arc'Teryx Atom LT. I am 5'4, 140lbs, with an athletic build. The X-Small is just a bit too tight and the Small just loose enough. I love this jacket and am purchasing my second one after retiring my old one to field use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new favorite I bought this to replace a 12 year old Patagonia puff I wore out. I love, love this jacket! I got it in a large (mostly for layering under), and the arms are a little long (only complaint). But, it's waterproof and super breathable, and gives me a lot of mobility. I've used it for skiing, running, commuting, and hiking. I can't wait for this to last for the next 12 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort and style I received this as a replacement for my nano puff hoody. I wanted something different than a "puffy coat". I am so pleased that I did because it affords everything my nano puffy did, but it stays dry better. I live in a damp area of the world (PNW) and this is a priority for outerwear. It is a functional and looks great. I get a lot of compliments on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit, feel, function, and color! I've been wearing my boyfriends Nano Air for over a year now, but now I can say I finally have my own! The fabric is super light weight, stretchy, quiet, and breathable and this jacket rocks. It is a true Slim Fit. I'm a 5'9" 165 lbs with long arms, and a Large fits me perfectly. I usually wear a Medium, and was on the fence about what size to go with, so I'm happy with my size choice. Thanks Patagoochi!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Jacket! I've had this jacket for almost a year now, and I love it. I wear it for tons of different activities: snowboarding, hiking, cross country skiing and more! It fits easily under my shells, but also works nicely as a stand alone. It keeps you warmer than you think! No complaints so far, I get many compliments on it. My friend's have the Arcteryx style version, and mine is longer in the torso and offers more pockets!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Back for more I love this piece, I'm back for another so I can dedicate my old one to the backcountry and save the new one for the frontcountry. That being said, once I wash this, it reverts to amazing frountcountry status even after over a year of constant use as a field guide. Sometimes I just don't have to do laundry before I transition from 30 days into the field, to leading seminars in the city. So two it is! Thanks Patagucc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great piece to keep you warm I wore a single layer along with this jacket on a 40-degree day and it was enough to keep me warm throughout the day. The material is very soft and not too bulky. Can be worn along for hiking or running, or used as a mid layer for snow sports. It's an extremely versatile jacket.
