Patagonia XS and XXS sizes both fit me so well! I went for the XS on this jacket while the XXS fits me better in the down sweater jacket. Great fit! Going to be a perfect layering jacket! Just bought it in store yesterday. So excited.
This is my second nano puff. I still use the old one but its a little ragged. I also wanted a larger size as its slim fitting. I wish it was less slim fitting! But it is the perfect weight jacket for so many weather conditions that I cant live without it. Make it a little looser and it would be magnificent.
Patagonia seems to pattern their clothes for tall women with orangutan arms and no curves. The elastic around the wrists isnt stretchy enough to keep the sleeves above my wrists. Im goi f to wear it a few more times to decide if I want to keep it. I love the weight of the coat and packability.

Great layering piece.
Super comfy as a base layer. I just exchanged a medium for a small. Its stretches a tiny bit, so size down if youre between sizes
Diamond quilt and original fit. Nano puffs are so warm and light weight. Favorite jacket weight for the PNW. This fit no longer works on me in a Medium. Large is too big. Patagonia does occasionally bring back retro styles, could you bring the old version in Black back for a special season in diamond quilt with the old fit? I see the girls section ... Disappointing Quality
Honestly I'm surprised and disappointed at the quality. I've had my jacket less than a year and threads are loose and coming apart. Also, definitely not designed for boobs so buyer beware.

Sleek and warm
I love this jacket. I bought this for me and the men's in a different color for my husband.
Best jacket we have ever owned. Our whole family has one now, so does every employee at our business. You might say it's our "winter dress" along with shorts, sweats or trunks.... Great Jacket.
I love this jacket, but I haven't worn it yet -- the sleeves were too long. This is a problem I have with the small sizes in general.
Still, I like the fit and feel of the jacket so much I'm spending an extra $50 to have the sleeves shortened.
That makes it a very expensive jacket. Obviously I decided it was worth it.

Warm comfy

This is my second Nano Puff. Only jacket I have ever come back for a second helping on. Light but warm. Regulates to a wide temperature range. Keep making it and I will probably buy a third some day.
Snug fit at hip and chest, despite being well within size range for a medium, arms too long and lighter weight than expected. For the price I expected more that what was delivered.

tight in the waist.
The jacket tends to run small in the waist and big in the shoulders. Not very attractive if you are broader in the waist. And the lining was a hideous pattern. I ordered on line but returned in store. It was a different jacket in the store--solid lining but contrasting zippers. Not sure what that is about.

Favorite jacket
I usually wear an xs but like the fit of the xxs. I wish Patagonia would make petite sizes! This is my second nano jacket, perfect functionality for everything from hiking to travel. My first one, black, have worn for 10 years, still looks great, but just wanted another color!
Was looking for a lightweight but warm hoodie. After friends of mine had nano puffs as well as other reviews, it became apparent - this was the right choice. For sure it was!
I love Patagonia for many reasons and would recommend their jackets and bags to anyone who would listen however I want to meet the women they have in mind for their product designs. Nano puffer jacket
Love the lightweight feature, the color and fit. Purchased an XXL so I would have room for a sweater underneath.
This jacket is perfect for those chilly days even with a cold north wind. Warm and lightweight, quality zippers, good color selection. I find myself reaching for this jacket frequently when a fleece is not warm enough but a parka is too warm.
The nano puff is a great light-weight jacket that is perfect for the shoulder seasons. I live in the upper Midwest and it's been good for anything above 30 degrees (so far)!
I own this jacket in black and bought a second in the purple, it’s a great color and again perfect for everyday wear. Easy to pack, keeps you super warm and fits over other layers such as better sweater

Disappointing
I once thought no vendor could beat the quality of Patagonia jackets…wrong! I purchased a women’s Down Sweater about 7 years ago, after finding that the feathers were coming through the stitched seams. Not a problem for me! Love the new colorway. Needed to replace a 13 yo jacket. Warm! I am l or xl, got xl so I could layer underneath. Has not been cold enough to layer yet, but warm by itself in fall temps. Already, a friend is also considering this one to upgrade her winter coat.
My new jacket is a wonderfully noticeable pale blue color, fits well, and I thought exactly the same as my old navy one. But now these sleeves are WAY too long and I will have to search for someone to professionally shorten them.

I agree with others who have commented on the fact it seems to be cut for a man's body. It is tight in the hips (maybe would be okay if I were taller, I'm 5'4"). I had to size up to get it comfortable at the bottom, which makes it a bit loose on the top. I still love the jacket though.
Perfect jacket for layering, packing and travel. Very happy. The arm length is a bit long. I only wish it had a two way zipper for added options when layering.

Warm
Well made, lightweight yet warm. A very big problem in design for these jackets and vests is the straight line resulting in a snug fit near the hips. My older Nano Puff vest purchased at least 15 or more years ago is a MUCH better fit for a woman.

This jacket is incredibly light, so warm and water proof. Great for outdoors.

I have had this jacket in the past. I purchased first the medium Nano; the body fit fine, however it was way to tight under the armpits. Then tried the large which was way too big in the body but the arms were fine. I talked to customer service who suggested I try the mens small. That was way to tight in the hip area. Too long in arms and body for shorter person
It is very tight across my chest but is too big everywhere else, including 2 inches too long in length in the arms and body besides being too loose. Patagonia looks so good on slender and fairly chested people, but doesn't fit those of us with a curvy hourglass figure well. 5 foot, 3 inches and 153lbs.

Popular for a reason
After of seeing everyone in town wearing this jacket I decided to pick one up, and I am glad I did! This jacket is very warm without restricting movement, and layers well over a fleece. Perfect for running errands or a winter walk with the dogs.
Absolutely love this layer and have loved it for nearly 10 years. I've had the same micro-puffy since around 2015, and while you can tell it's been on many adventures, it is still holding strong! There are a few patches, and a pocket zipper has stopped working, but this jacket still keeps me warm and is still one of my go-to jackets. I us... I love this jacket BUT the stitching comes loose in areas with each wear. Ive never had quilted jackets with this problem. Each time I try to carefully pull the stitching tight within the row. I haven't washed it yet but I hope it washes okay. Not very durable especially for the price. I do love the weight and fit. Disappointed!!

Perfectly detailed, my nano fits perfectly; like most Patagonia products, it seems to have everything I need and nothing I dont.

I come to find that the MICRO Puff is lighter in weight AND has smaller pockets of insulation...I bought the Nano from a store without knowing this...assuming like any logical person would that the opposite would be true. My boyfriend owner of a Micro puff, but not a scientist said "well they'd already used Nano and there's no unit smaller than Nano". But of course there is! Pico! A Picopuff would've 1. been a much more adorable name for a puffer coat 2. would make logical unit sense and 3. You could've made a yellow colored one and Pokemon fans might have gone bonkers for it with no risk of copyright infringement or licensing requirement... because its a scientific unit. You're welcome! (Take the idea, but if you do make a picopuff I'd like a coupon please)

Also just fyi in terms of fit for those that have read this far: as a "pear" shaped 5'8" female about 150 lbs with standard shoulder width & waist but wide hip circumference of 40+ inches: the length of the torso meant I had to get a size large to have it go over my hips and not ride up, but its a little baggy in the upper chest area. Its fine if I also am wearing more than a t-shirt layer under it though. Hope it helps. I really do love the jacket.

Adore Patagonia
I absolutely adore Patagonia. I love this jacket so much. I highly recommend.
I was so excited for this jacket. I had high expectation for quality for the investment, and was terribly disappointed. Less than a week after I got it, more than ten of the small seams in the puff on one sleeve were coming undone. This reflects around 30 wears, well under the point at which it should show this kind of wear. I purchased this on vacation, otherwise it would go right back to the store. Maybe I received a defective jacket, but I will not be giving Patagonia another shot to find out.

Perfect lightweight layer
This is a great lightweight jacket that easily stuffs into small spaces. I wear it all the time
The jacket is very practical in every sense, except for the fact that all the stitching is coming out. In a mater of weeks, a lot of the stitching, especially around the arms are has unraveled.

Perfect for transitional seasons for kids school wear
Purchased for each of my kids to wear during spring and fall for school and around. Perfect weight and warmth for those that don't want a jacket, but parents need to keep them warm. Packable and can throw in backpack. Works great.
I own many Women's Patagonia products, all in XL. These Nano Puff jackets were too small in the chest. I was very disappointed! I then tried on a Micro Puff jacket in XL and it fit fine. Not sure if the sizing in the Nano Puff has changed??

This jacket works hard here in Vermont in the transitional seasons (fall and the never-ending spring). The fit is excellent, and it's the perfect layer to protect against wind and light rain.
I love this Nano Puff jacket. It's a key piece in my wardrobe. I wear it when temperatures are from 40 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. It's very comfortable and stylish too. I highly recommend it. Also appreciated the no nonsense packaging. I'm very happy.

This is a perfect light weight fall/spring jacket. Big enough to fit a heavy sweatshirt under but still form fitting and flattering. Very light weight but still warm. I am 100% satisfied with this purchase!

Love this jacket. Always have, always will
This is one of the most versatile pieces I have. Packable, warm, light and looks great. I purchased the burnt orange color and I love it. It's perfect.
I have this jacket in another color and it is literally one of my favorite possessions. It was a gift from a friend and I was able to get this new one on sale which makes me so happy!
I bought this jacket for my trip to Paris after I learned that the weather was going to be colder than I thought. I loved having this lightweight, yet warm jacket that was easy to pack & always looked fresh.
Bought this jacket in a medium and is a little small, but is easy to wear and take anywhere, large was too big. Is durable, this is my third nano puff jacket, but they could make it a little looser from the bust. Overall great quality and design.

Yet it is very warm with only a tee underneath. The shoulders fit nicely. I have long arms and the fit is great. I would like it to be a bit roomier when zipped. Just a tad too snug, otherwise its a nice piece that I wear a lot.

cannot be described as warm
I am mystified that anyone can describe this jacket as "warm" when worn by itself. Layered with something else it's helpful, but on its own is barely more adequate than a fleece jacket.
Far too pricey for what it offers.

Killer color and super warm
When I read other reviews, spotted this color, I knew I had to have this jacket. Patagonia brand and made well. Bought on sale which is even better.
I have the older version in black with diamond shaped quilting and I love that one. The newer version is too fitted for a large. I wear a 10/12 and this one was form fitting. Wonderful lightweight jacket!
Exactly what I needed and surprisingly warm for being very light weight. My only feedback is that the tag on the inside of the jacket is very scratchy if it is touching your skin.
I love the jacket, I got the Fresh Teal color, BUT I don't like the different color lining. The lining is a Marine Blue color that you can see if the jacket is unzipped or partially zipped. Versatile jacket
I love how light but warm this jacket is. It is windproof, too! Because of this, even though the jacket is very thin, it keeps me very warm. I loved it so much that I bought it for my parents and my husband. No wonder it is highly rated.
I own a couple of these jacket from working in tech and they were perfect. Recently I bought the same for my parents and both of them ran really small (WL, MS) and did not match the size chart they published online. Did something change? A light weight jacket that
A light weight jacket that is comfortable and warm. If weather is colder you can easily wear a vest on top. I have worn it every day since I got it!
I was excited about getting this jacket but unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. It almost fits and looks like a mens jacket and not a women's. However its tight in the arm / arm pit area. Pretty disappointed bc I wanted to and thought I would love this light jacket but sadly I have to return.

This is the PERFECT everyday
This is the PERFECT everyday wear jacket to keep on hand throughout winter. Just enough warmth, but lightweight and super flexible to be easy to fold up and pack up if needed. Very happy with this purchase. Even adore the little details of the stitching pattern and zipper ties. Love it!

Perfect for Arizona Winters
The description of good for 40-50 degree temps is right on. I feel super comfortable on those chilly and, if lucky, rainy days. The fit is perfect as well. Great coat
Very warm, especially considering how non-bulky it is. Easy to clean. My only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I believe the stitching could be a little stronger.
Bought it for a trip that will include a lot of hiking, but it's not warm at all, even in buildings! Wind comes right through it. The pockets are a joke; they're not insulated at all. Love this jacket!
Absolutely love Patagonia clothing. Great company and they totally take care of their customers!
I am 5-2, 106lbs. The size XS fits close to my body which is perfect for wearing as an insulation layer under my rain jacket. Its slim fit also means I occasionally wear it around the house when the house is chilly. It does not get in the way and I don't overheat. Very functional. Every one admired the color. I liked it well too - My only recomendation was the need for more inside pockets. I eventually found the sizer one on the upper left chest area but for females (with breast) that is a safe area but interfers with body parts.
