Time-honored and field-proven, from starlit starts through benighted finishes, our Nano Puff® Pullover remains indispensable. It’s both an insulated pullover in late-fall squalls and a micro-belay parka on chilly rock routes. The Nano shuts out wind, sheds snow and traps heat – even when wet – with PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation (60-g), an incredibly warm, low-bulk, compressible and hydrophobic synthetic insulation. The sculpted fit opens up with a deep-venting half-zip that has a soft, wicking interior storm flap and zipper garage. The windproof, 100% recycled polyester ripstop shell glides effortlessly in your layering system, and the pullover packs down to practically nothing and stuffs into a single chest pocket that has a carabiner clip-in loop. Elasticized cuffs and hem seal out wind and trap warmth.
  • Lightweight ripstop recycled polyester shell fabric has a DWR (durable water repellent) finish
  • The most thermally efficient synthetic insulation available; water-repellent, compressible 60-g PrimaLoft® Gold insulation has excellent warmth-to-weight and maintains 96% of warmth, even when wet
  • Brick quilting pattern with horizontal quilt lines on side panels stabilizes insulation and uses durable thread for abrasion resistance
  • Easy-venting, deep center-front zipper has wicking interior storm flap and zipper garage at chin for next-to-skin comfort
  • Left chest pocket has clean-finished zipper garage and doubles as a self stuffsack with a reinforced carabiner clip-in loop
  • Elasticized cuffs and hem seal in warmth
  • Shell and lining: 1.4-oz 22-denier 100% recycled polyester, with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Insulation: 60-g PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation 100% polyester
  • 286 g (10.1 oz)
  • Made in Vietnam.

Water Resistant

(durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

We use PrimaLoft® insulation inside insulated garments for its warmth, compressibility, and soft comfort. While the human body uses energy to stay warm, PrimaLoft insulation uses a patented microfiber structure to help the body retain warmth and conserve energy.

The proprietary ultra-fine fibers of PrimaLoft insulation form a tight collection of air pockets that trap heat from your body and keep the cold out, providing an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio. When insulation gets wet, it loses these air pockets and consequently, its insulating properties. PrimaLoft ultra-fine fibers were developed to be water resistant so your insulation stays drier and maintains its insulating properties even when wet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great layering Recently I was on Lake Winnipeg in Manitoba in -18 C weather I needed another layer and the Nano Puff Pullover on top of the other layers did the trick for warmth.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Standard Goodness Standard Nano. There is a reason why everyone I know owns one. It is light, warm, reliable, and functional. I like that the entire piece is insulated. I don't even notice it hanging from my harness. I only wish that Patagonia would ditch the boxy fit for the sport-oriented items. I totally understand an "American" fit for lifestyle items, but higher-end items warrant a different approach

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My New go-to Pullover The Patagonia Nano Puff Pullover is my new favorite jacket. It's incredibly light, and is perfect for traveling due to its easy and compact storability. I'm a lanky 5'10" at 155 pounds and the Medium fit me perfectly. It keeps me fairly warm, but it's definitely more suited as a contributor to layering. On colder days I may have a sweater beneath or a shell over the Pullover, and on cooler or just windy days, I use the Pullover as a stand alone. I've only had it for little over a month now, but no signs of wear and tear, and just like most of my Patagonia products, I can easily see the Pullover lasting for years and years to come.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Unified Lining Membrane Would Be Great! A very good, but not great Pullover due to durability. Incredible warmth is definitely a huge benefit insulated by Primaloft Gold, the best on the market. Side Pockets would have been nice, but not important since this would be used to layer. Sizing can be an issue, being 5'11" @ 185 lbs, a medium would fit perfectly, although I prefer Large to layer underneath. Ordered a Large and it fits exactly to size. Careful with the zipper catching underneath felt chin guard and when packing. High probability of tearing due to the extremely thin inside lining. I cannot understand why the lining is not sewn to the outer shell to create a unified membrane like their jackets? Without being sewn together, the lining flops around and can easily tear. Outer shell is more durable than posted by others, but issue with stitching (single instead of double) can easily unravel. I considered the "Special Edition Pullover," with the thicker shell and lining, but not worth the additional $60. Might be worth the premium if you consider the SE Jacket. I rather use this Pullover under a Torrent Shell for a perfect combination for packing, durability, warmth and weather protection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best travel layer I have. I use this alone or as a layer to keep warm when traveling or outdoors. These are comfortable over a wide range of temperatures and really good warmth when wet. They weigh nothing and take up minimal space. I have two, one is several years old, still great for outdoors, my shop, my pack, biking hiking fishing hunting. My new one is my go to as a business travel layer. I can't say enough good things about these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great but it's a little baggy I absolutely love it, it is a nice thin insulating jacket. It is a bit baggy but, its not that bad. If you plan on wearing stuff underneath i would wear your size. But, if you plan on wearing just a shirt underneath I would size down. I normally wear a Large in companies like North Face and Nike but I would wear a medium here.
