Don’t go without our up-for-anything Houdini® Jacket. Weather-resistant 100% nylon ripstop fabric blocks wind and withstands abrasion on multihour adventures. The slim fit accommodates a baselayer or a light midlayer; the improved hood cinches with a single pull and won’t pinch your ears; cording, toggles and cuffs are all trim and lightweight. Half-elastic cuffs seal the wrists, and a drawcord cinches the hem. It packs snugly into its own small, vertically zippered chest pocket, which has a reinforced clip-in loop for attaching to your hydration-pack straps. A DWR (durable water repellent) finish coats the shell and the center-front zipper. With a reflective logo on the left chest and center-back neck.

Water Resistant

DWR (durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Versatile and Amazing! I take this jacket everywhere with me: trail running, hiking, and working on boats. I also wear it in the office and it's a crucial item for flying. Can't recommend this jacket enough! It's surprisingly warm for its weight, yet breathable. You won't regret making this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Running Jacket!! I bought this jacket a few months ago because I was in the market for a new running rain jacket. I wore this jacket during the 2018 Boston Marathon (if you aren't sure what the weather conditions were like that day, feel free to google). This jacket was incredible and held up SO WELL during what were by far the worst conditions I had ever ran in! The hood stayed up the ENTIRE RACE, through downpours and 30-40mph winds. I am so thankful that I made the decision to purchase this jacket. If you are in the market for a running jacket you NEED TO OWN THIS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent lightweight wind protection I've been looking for a new lightweight wind shell with a hood to carry in my running pack on long days in the mountains when rain is not part of the forecast. The Houdini is the perfect addition to my running gear. The fit is a slim fit and size small works well for me (I'm 5'3"/105lbs). I tried on x-small, but it was too tight fitting. This jacket packs small and provides great protection from the wind when you need a little extra layering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight weather and sun protection I actually own two of the Houdini jackets because wear them all the time. They are ideal for activities like cycling, hiking, runs... And it's perfect for traveling as it packs so small! The Houdini was also my daily companion on my ride around the White Rim in Utah and never got too hot or too cold. The temperature management was ideal for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Regular go-to in my quiver of gear This jacket is all that I hoped it would be and it fits well too. I ordered the Valley Floral color in cobalt for something different and I love this print. It's lightweight, yet enough wind protection to be my go-to for cold-weather running. The hood is an essential feature without being an annoyance. I foresee wearing it in warmer temps with fewer layers as well. I found all parts of the fit to be as expected - not too tight or too loose. I am 5'3" tall, 125 lbs. and have an athletic build. I typically wear a size 4 or Small in Patagonia clothes/gear. This will be a constant go-to in my quiver.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile and Lightweight I’ve had the Houdini for about a year now and I love it. It’s possibly one of the most versatile pieces of clothing I own. I’ve worn this climbing, running, hiking, backpacking, and traveling. The fact that it stuffs into a small ball, and that it’s nearly weightless, means I can carry it with me nearly everywhere I go. It provides a comfortable barrier between wind and light rain, and dries quickly. Seriously, it’s worth every penny. For reference, I am 5’5” and 145 lbs. and I purchased a size large. It is a bit loose, but I like to be able to layer comfortably. Great piece of clothing!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Running Jacket I run in the pacific northwest where the rain can sprinkle all throughout the day. I needed a light running jacket to help keep me warm and dry. The Houdini Jacket is perfect. It has kept me dry in the drizzling wet weather and warm on the breezy days of running. I run 8 to 16 miles a week. The sizing does run a little small. I'm typically an XS, but purchased a S and it fits great. I can still wear my puffy vest underneath it during the winter days. Note the zipper can be a little hard to zip up if you're in a hurry and don't align it just right.
